The annual Hire MI Vet career fair, which aims to help military veterans and their families find meaningful employment, was held Nov. 5 in the Morris Lawrence Building. The event is a joint effort of Hire MI Vet and Washtenaw Community College with the assistance of rotary members.

About Hire MI Vet

Hire MI Vet is a nonprofit charity that provides employment related services for Veterans and their families. We have two signature programs and an Annual Hiring Event hosted during Veterans Day week.

Why Hire MI VET?

We were created out of an identified need to support Veterans and their families with job readiness skills. Our efforts have grown over the years, but our approach has stayed the same; we
are advocates and coaches for the Veteran community as they navigate the employment world.
